Our Beaches

The Property Owners of Eaton’s Neck Beach Association maintains two private beaches for the enjoyment of its members, Price’s Bend and Valley Grove. A third, Hobart Beach, is owned and maintained by the Town of Huntington. These properties form the centerpiece of our unique community; places of natural beauty, introspection and recreation in every season.

Price’s Bend

Price’s Bend is a natural cove tucked between Winkle Point and Hobart Beach. Though time has
altered the landscape around it, Price’s Bend’s sandy curve has remained, bearing witness to
Matinecock families casting nets, revolutionary war patriots, steamship tourists, bungalow
communities and sand mining cities. Price’s Bend’s latest iteration is as the unofficial POENB
Town Green; a gathering place for all generations.

Valley Grove

Valley Grove is named after a picnic and amusement facility that existed on and around its
location from 1905 to 1919. The site originally catered to NYC steamships that would dock at the
end of a pier stretching 500 feet into Huntington Bay. Valley Grove boasted a carousel, hotel and
dance pavilion. Today, this vest pocket park and beach is a favorite haven of community
gardeners, kayak enthusiasts, laughing children and sunset lovers.
