March 19 - POENB Board had an Emergency Meeting and we are planning to Host a Community Information Event at the Firehouse. The Date is April 6 at 7PM. We are planning to invite various public officials including Congressman Steve Israel, Asharoken Village Mayor Pat Irving and Army Corps of Engineers Reps. To give you updated information and take your questions.

Congressman Israel's Office has worked with the Army Corp of Engineers to get the study for the plan for the wall to be completed by the end of this week - instead it taking weeks as was reported in Newsday.

~ ~ ~ March 17 - POENB Board members and approx 30 residents met at the Firehouse with Town of Huntington Councilman Mark Cuthbertson and Town of Huntington Director of ParksDonMcKay.

~ ~ ~ POENB has been in constant contact with ALL levels of public officials and government agencies to get information and urge our concerns.
